| Ecology |
|
| |
Research, co-operation and investigations with concerned authorities, administrations and associations in order to design projects that fully comply with local ecological and environmental conditions and requirements.
In most cases, ecological and environmental organizations are involved in the definition of “TABU” areas before we start the elaboration of initial drawings so that we can discuss and find solutions that are acceptable to all parties concerned.
We have been able to develop several specialized and versatile teams that elaborate feasibility studies to ascertain commercial and environmental sustainability on an international level.
If the golf course infringes on valuable ecological areas, we try to move the offending fairway, tee or green or find other compensating solutions such as the creation of new ecological zones and areas that can easily be colonized by indigenous flora and fauna. The implementation of new ecosystems or protected areas can even be accommodated outside the boundaries of a project especially if the total area of a proposed site is too small. |
